Abstract
"In the year of the Treaty (1867) the country felt itself freed from a great weight. There was a gratifying revival of industry, trade, art, and literature. The Hungarian book-trade also began to revive at this time. This is the starting point of the second period of the history of the Hungarian book-trade."
