Abstract

A katalógus Stein Aurélnak könyvtárunkban őrzött tudományos hagyatékát írja le. A Selyemút kutatójának szakmai öröksége nagyobbrészt angliai gyűjteményekre háramlott, ugyanakkor Stein öröksége csak az Akadémiai Könyvtár Keleti Gyűjteményéhez került szintén jelentős részeivel együtt teljes. A British Museum and Library munkatársaival megvalósuló nemzetközi együttműködés keretében rendszerezett gyűjtemény négy nagyobb egységre tagolható: levelezés; kéziratok és egyéb dokumentumok; cikkek, különlenyomatok, recenziók; valamint fényképek.
